Cleaning Operative
Location: Wrexham
Contract: Temporary
Pay: £13.07 per hour
Working Pattern: 2 days per week
Hours: Thursday and Friday
Start/Finish: Flexible start times, finishing at 18:15 Thursday and 17:15 Friday
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Wrexham, for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming workplace. You’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, including communal areas, welfare facilities and training rooms.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain communal areas, restrooms, welfare facilities and training rooms
Empty bins and support waste segregation and recycling
Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries
Operate cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners and floor buffers
Carry out routine and deep-cleaning activities
Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
About You
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable
Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe working practices
Knowledge of COSHH, PPE, manual handling and slip/trip prevention
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organised and committed to maintaining high standards
Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
Interview Process
The selection process will include a competency-based interview and a practical assessment of cleaning-related skills.
