Accounts Assistant - Temporary Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis, providing additional support within their busy accounts team.

Start: 22nd-28th September
Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, potentially through to the end of November
Hours: 8am-5pm or 9am-5pm
Location: Glenrothes, Fully office-based

Duties will include:

Purchase ledger and credit control support
Printing and processing invoices, matching against purchase orders
Posting journals and general data entry
Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
Inputting financial information into Sage Line 50
Providing general accounts/admin support to the Management Accountant
Assisting the wider accounts team as required
Requirements:

Previous accounts administration/Accounts Assistant experience is essential
Experience using Sage Line 50
Confident using Excel/spreadsheets
Good attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
Able to work effectively as part of a small accounts team
This is a great opportunity for someone who can come in and confidently provide hands-on accounts support during a period of staff absence.
