Warehouse Order Picker – Chilled Distribution Centre
Location: Haydock, WA11 
Rate of Pay: £13.41 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 2:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
Requirements: Successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS check and drug & alcohol screening.

We are recruiting Warehouse Order Picker to join a well-established and fast-paced distribution centre in Haydock. This role involves working within a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch.

Main Duties:

Picking customer orders using handheld scanning equipment
Preparing stock for dispatch in line with operational requirements
Moving products safely around the warehouse using pallet trucks and other manual handling equipment
Loading and unloading goods as required
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily productivity targetsCandidate Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience is essential
Comfortable working in chilled conditions
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
PPT experience is advantageous but full training can be provided
