About this contract

Our client, a leading UK civil engineering contractor are seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to deliver design, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEICA systems for water infrastructure projects. You will manage direct and subcontracted works, liaise with DNOs, ensure compliance with WIMES standards, NEC contracts, and oversee FAT/SAT, HAZOP/ALM, and project handover.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience with MEICA systems: pumps, valves, transformers, RMUs, LV switchgear, PLCs, MCCs, RTUs, instrumentation, and SCADA/Telemetry.

Experience delivering projects for regulated water companies.

Knowledge of NEC contracts, hydraulic systems, power resilience, and WIMES standards.

Authorised Person Electrical (desirable), SMSTS, EUSR, CSCS preferred.

Experience within Pumping stations & Water projects. Design & precon focussed to start, and ideally strong Technical background. 

Additional Info:

This is a temporary opportunity and will require site-based / in-person attendance for the duration of the project.

Opportunity to work with a well-established UK contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects.

Start ASAP / 45 hours per week.

Please note: Our client does not accept Ltd company or CIS engagements. This position has been deemed Inside IR35 and must be paid on an Umbrella PAYE or PAYE basis
