Mobile Plant Operator – Cardiff

4 on 4 off | 6am–6pm | Long‑term role

We’re recruiting a reliable and experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy heavy‑movement industrial site in the Cardiff area. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity with consistent shifts, strong overtime rates, and an immediate start available.

Pay & Shifts

4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm
£13.04 per hour basic
£19.56 overtime (after 8 hours) & Saturdays
£26.08 Sundays
What You’ll Be Doing

Operating 360 wheeled machinery or front‑shovel loading equipment
Moving materials, loading vehicles, and supporting daily plant operations
Maintaining safe work areas in a fast‑paced heavy‑industrial environment
Completing daily machine checks and reporting defects
Working as part of a reliable, safety‑focused team
What You Need

Valid CPCS or NPORS for 360 Wheeled Excavator or Front Shovel
Experience operating heavy plant machinery in industrial or construction settings
Strong awareness of site safety, signalling, and communication
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Good reliability and timekeeping
CSCS preferred but not essential
Fit for work and comfortable in physical, hands‑on environments
