We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Toxteth (L8).

The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils throughout their early learning journey. Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, you will help create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports children's academic, social, and emotional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting teaching and learning activities across the EYFS curriculum
* Assisting with phonics, literacy, and numeracy sessions
* Encouraging learning through play and structured activities
* Supporting individual pupils and small groups to meet their learning goals
* Helping to maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment
* Contributing to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress

* Previous experience within a school setting, ideally in EYFS
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, positive, and adaptable approach
