Pay Rate: £27 - £30 per hour

Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Outreach Tutor to work with the Local Authority in Stockton-on-Tees. This role involves delivering high-quality 1:1 tuition in both English and Maths to students who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised learning sessions that help pupils re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve positive academic outcomes.

Requirements

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is essential
Must be confident delivering both English and Maths
Experience working with Local Authority referrals is vital
Ability to deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
Strong behaviour management and safeguarding knowledge
Experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs is desirable
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is mandatory
Right to work in the UK
