🎓 The Role

Are you an experienced Law specialist looking to move into Further Education, or an established Law Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?

Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Law specialists and lecturers.

You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong subject knowledge, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.

⚖️ The Role

You may be responsible for:

Delivering engaging Law teaching across vocational and academic programmes
Supporting learners to understand legal principles, legislation and case law
Making complex legal concepts accessible to learners
Preparing learners for assessments and examinations
Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback
Monitoring progress, achievement and attendance
Supporting learners with progression into higher education, employment or further study
Supporting learners with SEN/ALN
Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement

✅ What We're Looking For

Degree or Level 3+ qualification in Law or a relevant subject
Strong knowledge of legal principles, legislation and current legal practice
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
Experience teaching or supporting Law learners is desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
FE teaching experience is desirable
Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
