Are you a passionate primary teacher available to start immediately? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and is looking for a role where they can make a genuine impact on children's learning and development.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Establish a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to individual needs.
Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
Encourage confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to achieve positive outcomes.
About You
The successful Year 1 Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A positive, adaptable and child-focused approach.
High expectations for both learning and behaviour.
A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
