We're looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a fantastic secondary school in Hillingdon on a long-term, part-time basis, with the opportunity to become permanent with the school following a successful introduction and placement.
This is a Monday to Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm position, offering excellent consistency and the opportunity to become a valued member of the school's science department.

What You'll Be Doing
Preparing equipment, materials and practical resources for science lessons
Setting up and clearing away practical experiments
Supporting teachers during practical lessons where required
Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources
Ensuring laboratories and preparation areas are clean, safe and well organised
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of equipment and consumables
Following appropriate health and safety procedures
Supporting the wider science department with day-to-day requirementsWhat We're Looking For

Organised, reliable and proactive
Confident working with scientific equipment and practical resources
Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Able to follow health and safety procedures carefully
Passionate about science and supporting young people's education
Available to work Monday-Friday, 9:30am-2:30pmPrevious experience as a Science Technician is desirable, but candidates with a strong science background and relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply.
