Job title: Stores Operative

Salary: £14.17 per hour
Job type: TemporaryWorking hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm Mon-Thurs, every Friday off! We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a leading electronics manufacturing business in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. You will play an important role in supporting production by ensuring materials are correctly picked, checked and prepared. The role of a Stores Operative will include:
Reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs) using internal computer systems.
Checking production kits to ensure all components are present and accurate.
Picking and kitting electronic components for production requirements.
Issuing materials to manufacturing teams in line with production schedules.
Maintaining an organised and efficient stores area.
Supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process. The ideal Stores Operative should have the following skills and experience:
Good computer literacy and confidence using computer-based systems.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
