Are you a recent graduate eager to gain practical experience working with children? A friendly and supportive primary school in Reading is looking for a motivated Graduate SEN TA to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate SEN TA to gain valuable classroom experience, develop a deeper understanding of special educational needs and build a strong foundation for a future career in education, psychology or SEN.

The Role

As a Graduate SEN TA, you will:

Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
Support teachers with engaging lessons and targeted interventions.
Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
Help create a calm, inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils and support their academic and personal development.
Work alongside teachers, SEN professionals and the wider school team.

About You

The school is looking for a Graduate SEN TA who has:

A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology or a related subject.
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable personality.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
An ambition to pursue a career in education, psychology or special educational needs.
