Are you a recent graduate of a PGCE program or in the process of finishing your NQT year? If yes, we have opportunities for Newly Qualified Teachers to join schools within the Caerphilly Borough.

We know that it can be hard securing the first long-term position as an Newly Qualified Teacher and we want to offer that opportunity to start your teaching career. We will ensure that any long-term placements is in a school that you are well suited in. We can support you in finding a specialist Newly Qualified Teacher mentor, who will guide you through your placement and induction year.

For individuals seeking to fulfil their Newly Qualified Teacher year through supply teaching, our Guaranteed Work Scheme guarantees placements for up to five days a week. This ensures a consistent stream of opportunities across different schools, allowing you to successfully complete your induction year.

The successful teacher will be developing and will be delivering lesson places, in addition to working in collaboration with other staff to meet the expectations of the school in question.
