The ideal candidate will be committed, adaptable, and confident in creating a positive learning environment that supports students of all abilities. CONTRACT DETAILS
· Location - East London
· Position - Science Teacher
· Type of work - Teaching Science
· Contract or position start date - October 2026
· Duration / Likely Duration - Full academic year
· Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Ongoing
. Full time/part time - Full time
· Rate of pay - Pay to scale
· Hours - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
· Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
· A degree in a Science-related subject

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH THE SCHOOL / AGENCY, YOU MUST:
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional references covering the last two years
