SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Bolton
Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, temporary ongoing

Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We're working with a welcoming SEN school in Bolton that is looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide valuable support to pupils with additional needs.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
Support children with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties and learning difficulties
Help pupils engage with learning and develop their confidence and independence
Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support
Assist with classroom activities and adapted learning
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
Good understanding of behaviour management and safeguarding
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A relevant TA/SEN qualification is desirable but not essentialThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to children's education and wellbeing while gaining further experience within a supportive school environment.
