A public sectororganisation is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join their team ona 9-month maternity cover contract. This is a predominantly remote role, withoccasional travel required for meetings and collaborative working. The positionoffers a 36-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with flexible workingarrangements available.

Your new role
As PersonalAssistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to a seniorleader, helping to ensure the smooth running of their day-to-day activities.Minute-taking is a key part of the role, requiring excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture discussions, decisions, andactions from a range of meetings.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing diaries, meetings, and appointments.
Preparing agendas and meeting documentation.
Attending meetings and producing accurate minutes and action notes.
Managing emails and correspondence, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Supporting information requests and administrative processes.
Producing reports, documents,and communications using Microsoft Office.
Building positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Providing general administrative support to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a PA, EA, or senior administrative role.
Minute-taking skills and attention to detail.
Strong diary management and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
A proactive and professional approach, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
