Candidates interested in broader supply work can also be considered for general secondary cover roles when subject-specific Maths Teacher opportunities are not available.
Position: Secondary Maths Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a Secondary Maths Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver effective and engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils to develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills.
The Secondary Maths Teacher role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers seeking flexible work across Doncaster. There may also be opportunities to undertake general secondary cover, giving you the flexibility to work across different subjects and school settings where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Support pupils to develop mathematical understanding and confidence
Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and routines
Assess learning and provide feedback where required
Undertake general secondary cover where appropriateCandidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Previous experience teaching Maths or relevant secondary teaching experience
Strong classroom management skills
Good communication and organisational skills
Flexible approach to supply teaching
