Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you enjoy working in a nurturing environment where you can make a real difference every day?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. The school has recently established a specialist SEND class to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, and they are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work within the school's specialist SEND class, supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, speech and language needs, ADHD and communication difficulties.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND.
Supporting children to access learning through personalised strategies and activities.
Encouraging pupils' social, emotional and communication development.
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team to deliver individual support plans.
Creating a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
Is patient, caring and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
Has a positive, flexible approach and enjoys working as part of a team.
Is passionate about inclusive education and helping children reach their full potential.
Has experience supporting pupils with autism or communication needs (desirable but not essential).The School
