Working Pattern: Fully site-based (no hybrid working)

The Role

We are recruiting for a Customer Services Officer to support sheltered housing and schemes across Brixton, Islington and Southwark. This is a front-facing customer service role, providing support to residents, managing enquiries, handling administrative tasks, and helping ensure schemes operate efficiently.

The successful candidate must be able to travel between sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service and respond to resident enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Provide cover across sheltered housing schemes when required.
Log service requests and maintain accurate records on housing management systems.
Process payments for facilities, parking, fobs, and guest accommodation.
Handle correspondence, complaints, and resident communications.
Carry out property and guest flat viewings when required.
Manage keys and access fobs, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Support resident meetings, events, surveys, and engagement activities.
Undertake general administrative duties including filing, minute-taking, and maintaining records.
Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and external agencies to ensure residents receive an excellent service.Skills & Experience

Previous experience in customer service, housing, sheltered housing, or a similar environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good administrative and organisational abilities.
Experience handling enquiries and resolving customer issues.
Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety principles would be advantageous.Please note: This role is fully site-based and does not include welfare checks or the completion of support plans.
