We are currently working with a well-established NHS GP Practice in Wakefield that is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
* Audio and copy typing of clinical correspondence
* Minute taking and meeting administration
* Processing and sending referrals
* Managing e-Referrals via ERS (Choose & Book)
* Summarising patient notes and medical records
* General secretarial and administrative duties
* Using appropriate medical terminology accurately
* Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary within an NHS GP Practice
* Strong working knowledge of SystmOne
* Experience using ERS (Electronic Referral Service / Choose & Book)
* Excellent typing and administrative skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
* Immediate availability or short notice preferred
