Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail, practical skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, repairing, and priming as required.
Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Measure and mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
Protect furniture, floors, fixtures, and other areas from paint damage.
Inspect completed work and correct imperfections where necessary.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Follow project specifications, drawings, and instructions.
Work efficiently to meet agreed deadlines.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, colleagues, customers, and other trades.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Painter or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation.
CSCS Required
