We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Laboratory Administrator to support our clients busy laboratory operations. This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with hands-on laboratory tasks, ideal for someone who enjoys both desk-based and practical work.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

Booking in and registering samples using the Laboratory Information Management System
Producing Excel reports to monitor outstanding requests and support operational needs
Managing a shared inbox, responding to queries from internal teams and customers
Providing general administrative support, including reporting as requiredLaboratory Duties

Organising, labelling, and storing samples accurately
Preparing and labelling sample containers for customer use
Adding required reagents to containers and ensuring correct dating and traceability
Cleaning and preparing containers and laboratory equipment for reuseAbout You

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
Comfortable working in both office and laboratory environmentsWhat We Offer
