Site Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major refurbishment and construction project in Yeovil.

The project involves the full refurbishment and redevelopment of an existing building, including a new steel frame, extensive internal fit-out, roofing, foundations and groundworks, M&E installations and window replacement.

Key Responsibilities

* Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project.

* Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors across multiple work packages.

* Drive the programme and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

* Maintain excellent health & safety standards across the site.

* Oversee temporary works and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.

* Coordinate M&E, structural, groundworks, roofing and internal fit-out activities.

* Manage quality, inspections and site documentation.

* Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team.

* Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager.

* Strong refurbishment and construction experience.

* Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractor packages.

* Excellent health & safety awareness and leadership skills.

* SMSTS – Essential

* CSCS – Essential

* First Aid – Essential

* Previous experience with steel frame, fit-out, groundworks and M&E would be advantageous.

* Candidates must be able to meet any required project vetting/security requirements
