Coba Education is working with a secondary school in Daventry seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science teacher looking for consistency, supportive leadership, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a well-established department. The school is looking for someone who can engage students, bring Science to life, and contribute positively to school life.

Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or teach General Science, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

Full-time teaching position
Long-term placement with potential for permanence
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Planning, marking and assessment responsibilities
Creating engaging and inclusive lessons
Supporting student progress and attainment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Science
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for education and student success
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Full right to work in the UK
Two recent professional references
Desirable:

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
Ability to teach across multiple Science disciplines
Experience supporting GCSE classes
