Teaching Assistant – Worthing 

Supply Desk is currently working with a number ofmainstream schools in Worthing to provide additional support for children within the classroom. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about education and have a genuine drive to help children achieve their full potential. 

We offer a range of opportunities, from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, supporting pupils across different age groups and subjects. 

We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including: 

Sports coaching 

Youth work 

Volunteer work 

Support work 

Childcare or previous Teaching Assistant experience 

Scout/Guide leaders or similar roles working with young people 

As a Teaching Assistant in Worthing, you will: 

Support children 1:1 or in small groups to aid their learning, development, and confidence 

Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and general classroom responsibilities 

Help prepare and set up learning resources and activities 

Provide positive, proactive support for pupils with additional needs 

Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as clubs or sports where required
