Management Accountant

Management Accountant - Macclesfield - up to £22hr + holiday pay - Temporary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Duties

* Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support operational objectives.

* Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

* Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to maintain comprehensive financial records.

* Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury functions to optimize liquidity management.

* Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of financial strategies and operational goals.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, have a high attention to detail and the ability to work at pace. You will be working on a 6 week contract with the opportunity to be extended for the right candidate.
