Experienced Primary School Administrator
Location: Warrington
Salary: £14.25-£15.50
TeacherActive is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school for an Experienced School Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with previous school administration experience who can hit the ground running.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of school office procedures and be confident using SIMS or Arbor management information systems, alongside attendance and parent payment platforms.
The Role
As a Primary School Administrator, you will:
Manage the busy school reception and provide a professional first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff.
Maintain accurate pupil records using SIMS or Arbor.
Monitor and record daily attendance, following up on absences in line with school procedures.
Process admissions, leavers, and pupil data accurately.
Manage communication with parents via school systems and parent messaging apps.
Use parent payment systems to administer trips, clubs, and school meal payments.
Support the wider school team with general administrative duties.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working in a primary school office.
Proven experience using SIMS or Arbor.
Experience managing school attendance records.
Confidence using parent communication and payment systems.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a busy school team.
