About this job

Keeping a busy warehouse moving safely and efficiently depends on skilled people who know how to handle stock properly and keep operations on track. As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you’ll play an important part in the day-to-day operation while securing consistent Monday-to-Friday work with the opportunity to become permanent after 13 weeks. 

You’ll join an established warehouse operation where you’ll be trusted to move goods safely, support incoming and outgoing deliveries and help maintain an organised working environment.

Your responsibilities as Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
Load and unload deliveries while ensuring goods are handled correctly
Move and store stock accurately in the appropriate warehouse locations
Support general warehouse duties when required to keep operations running smoothly
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Follow health and safety procedures when handling, moving and storing goods
What we’re looking for in a Counterbalance Forklift Driver

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Previous experience operating this type of material-handling equipment
Previous experience within a warehouse environment
Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
Ability to carry out the physical requirements of a busy warehouse position
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Exact start and finish times are to be confirmed.
