About the Role
We are seeking experienced and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated support team. You will support individuals within our care environment, ensuring they receive compassionate, high-quality daily care in a warm, welcoming setting. This is a temporary position offering flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle, with the opportunity to review for a longer-term placement.
Working Hours
We offer flexible shifts to suit your schedule, with opportunities available between the working hours of:
* ☀️ 07:00 – 21:30 (Day Shifts)
* 🌙 21:00 – 07:00 (Night Shifts)
The Care Structure
Our care team works collaboratively to support individuals with varying levels of need, focusing on promoting independence, preserving dignity, and delivering a high quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* 🤝 Personal Care: Assist with daily personal care needs, including washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
* 🥗 Meal Support: Help with dining and hydration, assisting those who require extra support during mealtimes.
* 📋 Care Plans: Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate, up-to-date daily records.
* 💬 Engagement: Build positive relationships, encouraging participation in daily activities and social interaction.
Requirements
* 🫂 Proven Experience: Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience within the UK care or healthcare sector.
* 🧠 Compassionate Approach: A patient, empathetic nature with a strong commitment to person-centred care.
* 💪 Reliability: Dependable work ethic with a hands-on and flexible approach to working hours.
* 🧼 Safety & Dignity: Clear understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and maintaining dignity.
* 📚 Valid Training: Up-to-date mandatory care training certificates, or a willingness to undergo training immediately.
* 🛡️ Background Check: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one immediately).
