Job Title: GCSE Science Tutor
Location: Stratford, London
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging tuition across GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
Consolidate KS3 knowledge while introducing key GCSE concepts to strengthen exam prep.
Personalise lesson plans to target gaps in understanding and build learner confidence.
Support students with SEN by adapting teaching methods to ensure accessibility and motivation.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in Science at KS3/GCSE level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.Desired:

QTS or a Science related degree.
Experience preparing students for GCSE exams.
Expereince supporting learners with SEN.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
