Hygiene Operative
Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organised, and running smoothly? We're looking for a Hygiene Operative to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety within a busy production environment.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring production areas and equipment are maintained to the highest hygiene standards, helping to keep operations safe, efficient, and compliant.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out daily cleaning duties in line with site hygiene schedules
Deep cleaning machinery and equipment, including strip-down and reassembly (full training provided)
Cleaning production areas, including sweeping, mopping, washing trays and racks, and managing waste disposal
Operating cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, hot hoses, and industrial vacuums (training provided)
Following cleaning procedures, work instructions, and company standards
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Reporting any hygiene, safety, or equipment concerns promptly
What we're looking for
A reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic
Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
Ability to follow procedures accurately and work to high standards
A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues when needed
Good time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Previous cleaning, hygiene, production, manufacturing, or industrial experience would be beneficial, but not essential
Health & Safety
An understanding of Health & Safety procedures, COSHH regulations, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
