Recycling Operative/Telehandler Operator

Location: Beeston, Leeds (LS11)
Shift: Afternoon Shift
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am (midnight)
Pay Rate: £15.10 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join recycling and waste operation team in Beeston, Leeds. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who can work effectively within a busy site environment.

The Role

Operating a Telehandler to support waste and recycling site operations
Loading, moving, and transporting materials safely around the site
Assisting with general site duties when required
Working closely with the operations team to ensure site efficiency
Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations

Requirements

Valid Telehandler qualification/licence (in-house or external certificates accepted)
Previous experience operating a Telehandler
Experience working within waste management, recycling, or similar industrial environments is highly desirable
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence (Category B) - essential
