About this job

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join an outstanding early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly motivated and supportive team that is committed to providing exceptional care and education for every child.
While this role is initially temporary, there is the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate who demonstrates commitment, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Key responsibilities:

* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

* Build positive, nurturing relationships with children, supporting their individual learning and development.

* Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using observations to inform future planning.

* Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence through play-based learning.

* Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing information about children's achievements and development.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the outstanding standards of the setting.

* Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies are consistently followed.

* Support the preparation and organisation of learning environments and resources.

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

* Has a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

* Is passionate about providing outstanding care and education.

* Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Is caring, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic.

* Works well both independently and as part of a team.

* Has high expectations for children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
