Our client based in Newmarket, Suffolk is looking for a full time Assembly Operative to join their team on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.

They are looking for motivated and reliable Assembly Operatives to join our growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality products and wants to develop their career within a busy manufacturing environment.

Working as part of an experienced team, you will assemble specialist products to engineering specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble components to specification using engineering drawings and work instructions.

* Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and production paperwork.

* Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.

* Identify and report any defects or production issues.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

* Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.

* Good practical skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
