About this job

One night shift press brake seat with a sheet metal fabrication business in Telford (TF7). Temp to perm after twelve weeks.

This is a permanent night shift, not a rotation. No swapping onto days, no alternating weeks. Nights is the job.

Hours
Monday to Wednesday, 4.30pm to 3am
Thursday, 4.30pm to 2am
No Friday night, so your weekend starts Thursday
Up to £17.10 per hour

The work
Setting and operating CNC press brakes, Amada on this site. Tool setting and changes, folding from engineering drawings, first off checks and gauging your own work through the run.

What they're after
Press brake setting on modern CNC brakes, Amada ideally, Bystronic, Trumpf or LVD all fine. Reading drawings and working out your own bend sequences. Fluent English. Because it's a single seat on nights you'll be working on your own initiative with no day shift support, so this suits someone who's done it long enough to trust their own judgement.
