Assistant Cook

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team for approximately 20-30 hours per week (to include some evenings and weekends) on a temp to perm basis. The right person needs to be motivated, reliable and have a 'can-do' attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, and events
* Provide cover for the Head Chef during pre-booked annual leave and other planned periods of absence, ensuring continuity and high standards across the kitchen
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
* Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
What We're Looking For:
* Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment is essential
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events
* Relevant food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Have a can-do attitude with a friendly and approachable personality
* Will require own transportation due to remote location
