Location: 2 to 3 days in either London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow or Edinburgh

Day Rate: £560 a day via Umbrella company

Duration: 6 months

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer (DevOps) to join a high-profile Government programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex technical environment, supporting application development, integrations, automation, and DevOps best practices across critical systems.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Scripting experience including:
ANT
Ansible
Bash Shell
Terraform
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience with:
Jenkins
AWS
Git
Docker
Liquibase
Ability to work effectively with remote client and delivery teams
Experience supporting integrations with external applications

Key Responsibilities

Develop, support, and maintain enterprise applications within a DevOps environment.
Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Automate deployment and infrastructure processes.
Support application integrations across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, deployment, and environment issues.
