Are you a Development Engineer - Fuel Systems looking to lead technically complex projects, with Flexible Working and a Long-Term Contract? Do you have experience developing engine air/fuel system components from concept through to production?

This is a chance to step into a highly technical contract role for a world-leading engineering manufacturer, where you'll be trusted to deliver to time, cost and quality and work with a wider global engineering network.

You'll be joining a business known for engineering innovation and real-world product impact, with the opportunity to work on current and new products and drive world-class quality and reliability through structured engineering methods.

You'll lead design and development of air and fuel system components on an established engine platform, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders from requirements through validation and production release.

This role suits a technically-driven engineer looking for high-level development work, specialist fuel systems exposure, and ownership of complex engineering projects.

The Role:
- Lead air/fuel system component development projects on an engine platform, working cross-functionally and with suppliers
- On-site role in Peterborough, collaborating with global engineering and production facilities
- 40 hours per week contract role (no on-call/shift pattern stated on the record)

The Person:
- Degree-qualified in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Proven experience in engine components/systems development (diesel engine fuel systems preferred)
- Comfortable leading project delivery and using methods such as APQP, FMEA and DVP&R to manage risk and validation
