Are you an experienced Service Manager - Children with Disabilities looking for your next interim challenge? This is an opportunity for a highly skilled Service Manager - Children with Disabilities to lead an established service through the next phase of improvement and transformation, delivering meaningful outcomes for children, young people and their families.
As Service Manager - Children with Disabilities, you will play a pivotal role in driving service development, embedding best practice and providing visible leadership across the service. Working closely with senior leaders, managers and frontline teams, you will help shape sustainable improvements while ensuring high-quality, financially responsible service delivery. Your Role as Service Manager - Children with Disabilities:
• Lead operational delivery across the Children with Disabilities Service
• Drive improvement and transformation programmes, ensuring measurable outcomes
• Provide visible leadership, support and challenge to managers and practitioners
• Monitor performance, identify areas for development and implement solutions
• Support budget management and contribute to strategic service priorities
Your Previous Experience as Service Manager - Children with Disabilities:
• Significant management experience within Children's Services and Children with Disabilities Services
• Proven track record of leading successful service improvement and change programmes
• Strong operational leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Experience managing performance, quality assurance and service outcomes
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and influence positive change
This role requires an on-site presence of 3-4 days per week to provide hands-on leadership and support practice development. Four-day working arrangements may be considered.
