The successful candidate will be an engaging and dedicated teacher who can create a positive classroom environment, inspire pupils and deliver consistently high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum.
The Role
Teach a Year 3 class as maternity cover
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
Support pupils in making strong academic and personal progress
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching within the Primary age range
Ideally, previous experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
A nurturing and inclusive approach to supporting children's development
The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
