The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a large-scale digital programme, working across multiple product teams to ensure services are designed around genuine user needs.

This role will see you working with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to generate actionable user insights that shape service design and improve user experiences. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are accessible, inclusive, and evidence-led.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and analyse a range of user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and workshops.
Identify and evidence user needs to inform product and service development.
Translate research findings into clear insights and recommendations for delivery teams.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to influence decision-making.
Advocate for user-centred design principles across the programme.
Support the design of inclusive and accessible services that meet the needs of diverse user groups.
Present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Help teams make evidence-based decisions throughout the product lifecycle.Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a User Researcher within digital delivery environments.
Strong experience planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
Expertise in usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and insight generation.
Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and engaging way.
Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Passion for user-centred design and evidence-based decision making.What We're Looking For
