Project Manager

My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Project Manager to help deliver a major tunnelling and shafts project in London. The successful candidate must have strong experience managing tunnelling and shaft construction projects.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for project delivery
* Managing project programmes and budgets
* Client and stakeholder liaison
* Managing subcontractors and site teams
* Health and safety compliance
* Managing RAMS, permits and project documentation
* Managing tunnelling and shaft construction works
* Monitoring progress and commercial performance
* Managing project risks and reporting
* Ensuring works are delivered on programme, within budget and to specification
* Leading project meetings and providing progress updates
Project Manager Requirements:
* Black or Gold CSCS
* SMSTS
* Strong tunnelling and shafts experience is essential
* Previous experience managing underground civil engineering projects
* Experience with SCL, shaft sinking, TBM, pipe jacking or similar tunnelling methods would be advantageous
* Strong civil engineering background
* Strong programme and commercial management experience
* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
* Full UK driving licence
