Production Operative
Location: Walsall
Hours: Full Time, 38 hours per week
Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Optional overtime available on FridaysPay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Training: Full training provided
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a production environment. Full training will be provided, making this position suitable for both experienced candidates and those looking to develop a career in manufacturing.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, assembled, inspected, and prepared to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Assembling and manufacturing products in line with production specifications
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Packing and preparing completed products for dispatch
Monitoring production processes and reporting any faults or issues
Maintaining accurate production records where required
Following all health and safety procedures
Keeping the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards
Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
Skills & Experience
Previous production, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Good communication skills
Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
