Apprentice Internal Sales Account Manager
Location: Office base, Shrewsbury SY1 2EL
Salary: Starting salary £18,375 per annum
Contract: Full Time, 18 month fixed term
Hours: Normal hours of work are 8.45am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week) with an unpaid break of 1 hour for lunch. There will be a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends to visit suppliers/customers, attend marketing events, exhibitions and trade shows.

The Role:
Reporting to Internal Sales Manager you will learn how to promote, increase sales and build new business for Morris Lubricants in the UK. You will be supported to gain an apprenticeship under the Skills England Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship standard (reference number ST0572).
The role is offered as a fixed term of 18 months which is the length of the apprenticeship.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in developing a career in sales. They will be highly organised, self-motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Relationship building and excellent customer service skills
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments of the organisation
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above
• Eligibility to undertake a Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship
• Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality or sales environment is desirable
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Ethical, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
