EXCLUSIVE ROLE: Chroma Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electronic Technician to support the assembly, testing and refurbishment of specialist electrical and mechanical products.
This Electronic Technician role has a strong electronic assembly focus, alongside precision mechanical and pneumatic assembly, functional testing and support for client and third-party inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electronic, mechanical and pneumatic assembly and refurbishment
Solder small components and produce complex wiring and cable assemblies
Read detailed assembly drawings and parts lists, maintaining accurate documentation
Complete functional testing, electronic fault-finding and fault investigation
Prepare equipment for FATs and support client/third-party testing, workshop activities and off-site customer requirements
Experience Required:
Previous experience as an Electronic Technician within a manufacturing, engineering or assembly environment
Strong soldering, complex wiring, cable assembly and precision fitting skills
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, parts lists and test requirements
Confident electronic fault-finding, quality control and problem-solving capability
A recognised apprenticeship and ONC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in an electrical/mechanical discipline is preferred
