Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a contract opportunity supporting a new housing development in Wales. The role will focus on RIBA Stage 3 design work within the buildings sector, including small power systems. The position is primarily remote and a few days a week, with occasional travel to site potentially required, and an immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering electrical engineering design work throughout RIBA Stage 3
Developing designs for small power systems
Producing accurate technical documentation and design information
Reviewing project requirements and ensuring designs meet relevant standards
Working independently to progress tasks efficiently and resolve design issues
Attending the project site in Wales when required
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in electrical engineering within the buildings or construction sector
Strong knowledge of RIBA Stage 3 design processes
Experience designing small power systems
Experience of electrical services design for residential or housing developments
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities
Availability for an immediate contract start and occasional travel to Wales

Project-based engagement expected to run intermittently over approximately two to three months

Rate CIRCA £400 a day
