Electrical Improver

We are recruiting experienced Electrical Improver or Electrical Assembly Operatives to support a major manufacturing project in Huthwaite. You will be working on a busy production line assembling switchgear panels, carrying out wiring tasks, and ensuring high‑quality standards throughout.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled electrical workers looking for consistent hours, strong rates, and the potential for additional shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Assembly of switchgear panels

* Electrical wiring

* CT wiring

* Terminating multicores and single cores

* Working on gear plates

* Possible copper work depending on experience

* Working from drawings and following production processes

Working Hours

Standard Week – 37.5 hours

* Mon–Thurs: Day shift

* Friday: 7:30am – 11:45am

Factory Opening Hours (Overtime Available):

* Mon–Thurs: 6:00am – 6:00pm

* Friday: 7:30am – 11:45am

* Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

Night shifts may be available later, subject to performance.

What You Need

* ECS Card (NOT essential)

* Proven experience in electrical assembly or panel building

* Strong Electrical and CT wiring skills

* Ability to read and work from technical drawings

* Additional certificates (e.g., Manual Handling, online H&S courses) are beneficial

* Strong attention to detail and reliability

Pay & Benefits

* £22.00 per hour / Weekly pay / Overtime available / Long days available for those wanting extra hours
