KS1 Class Teacher - Bexley

Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Pay: £39,196-£58,120 per annum (Outer London MPS/UPS)

A primary school in Bexley are looking for a KS1 Class Teacher to join them on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.

The school are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and can create a well-structured classroom where children feel settled and ready to learn. You will be responsible for your own class and will work closely with the school's support staff.

Main responsibilities:

Teaching across the KS1 curriculum
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Adapting work to meet individual needs
Establishing effective classroom routines
Managing behaviour consistently
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Working alongside Teaching Assistants
Supporting pupils' academic and personal developmentThe successful candidate will have:

QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Previous UK primary teaching experience
KS1 experience
Strong classroom management
Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
