Electrical Fitter
Location: Telford
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour DOE
Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking to work on bespoke vehicle conversion projects?
The Role:
Working as part of the production team, you'll be responsible for installing electrical equipment and carrying out vehicle wiring to customer specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and wiring of 12V electrical systems on commercial vehicles
Fitting beacons, work lights, inverters, batteries and ancillary equipment
Wiring, soldering and terminating electrical connections
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings
Supporting mechanical assembly activities where required
Conducting quality checks and ensuring builds meet customer requirements
Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with 12V automotive electrical systems
Ability to install and wire a range of vehicle accessories and equipment
Experience using soldering equipment, connectors and wiring looms
Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams
Competent using hand and power tools
Previous mechanical assembly or fitting experience
Vehicle conversion experience is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and commitment to safe working practices
