Site Supervisor - Construction

Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a construction project for an established contractor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the site, supervising the workforce and ensuring that site records and project information are kept accurate and up to date.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Supervising subcontractors and site operatives
Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standard
Monitoring progress and reporting any issues
Completing and maintaining site documentation
Collecting, organising and accurately filing project data and records
Maintaining inspection records, delivery records, site paperwork and other documentation
Assisting with site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
Liaising with subcontractors and the wider project team
Ensuring site procedures and health & safety requirements are followed
Providing regular updates to the Site Manager and project team

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, methodical and confident supervising on site.

You will need:

SSSTS qualification - essential
Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager
Good understanding of construction site procedures
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail when collecting and filing information
Good communication skills
Ability to keep accurate records and follow processes
A proactive approach and willingness to get involvedThis role would suit someone who is comfortable both supervising site activities and handling the associated paperwork and data. The ability to keep documentation organised and up to date is particularly important.
